"La meditazione è una respirazione, la preghiera è una respirazione, l’estasi è una respirazione; ogni comunicazione con il Cielo è una respirazione. Chi approfondisce il senso di quel processo che è la respirazione, a poco a poco sente il proprio respiro fondersi nel respiro di Dio. Perché anche Dio respira: Egli espira, e un mondo appare; inspira, e un mondo scompare… In certe giornate estive, la comparsa improvvisa di leggere nuvole bianche in un cielo azzurro, seguita dalla loro altrettanto improvvisa scomparsa, ci può dare un’immagine approssimativa di tale processo.Le inspirazioni e le espirazioni di Dio avvengono, ovviamente, nell'arco di miliardi e miliardi di anni. Il libri sacri dell’India dicono che un giorno Dio inspirerà, e il nostro universo ritornerà in seno a Lui. Poi Egli espirerà di nuovo, e una nuova creazione apparirà… Attraverso l’uomo, Dio respira più rapidamente, ma nel cosmo i Suoi respiri sono lunghissimi. Dunque, più la nostra respirazione ha tempi lunghi, più noi ci avviciniamo alla respirazione divina. "

"Meditation is breathing, so too is prayer, ecstasy and all communication with heaven. Also, je länger unsere Atmung dauert, umso mehr nähern wir uns der göttlichen Atmung."

Respirația umană - și respirația cosmică

"Meditația este o respirație, rugăciunea este o respirație, extazul este o respirație; întreaga comunicare cu Cerul este o respirație. Cel care aprofundează sensul acestui proces care este respirația simte, încet-încet, cum propria respirație se topește în respirația Domnului. Fiindcă și Domnul respiră: El expiră și o lume apare, El inspiră și o lume dispare...În unele zile de vară, apariția neașteptată a unor nori subțiri albi pe un cer albastru, urmată tot de o disparriție neașteptată, ne poate oferi o imagine aproximativă a acestor procese.
Inspirațiile și expirațiile Domnului se desfășoară, evident, pe parcursul a miliarde și miliarde de ani. Cărțile Sfinte ale Indiei spun că într-o zi Domnul va inspira și universul se va reîntoarce în sânul său. Apoi, El va expira din nou și o nouă creație va apare...Domnul respiră mai repede prin intermediul omului, dar în cosmos respirațiile sale sunt foarte lungi. Așadar, cu cât respirația noastră este mai lungă, cu atât mai mult ne apropiem de respirația divină."

"Ο διαλογισμός είναι μια αναπνοή, η προσευχή είναι μια αναπνοή, η έκσταση είναι μια αναπνοή. Κάθε επικοινωνία με τον Ουρανό είναι αναπνοή. Όποιος εμβαθύνει στη διεργασία της αναπνοής και στην έννοιά της, αισθάνεται λίγο-λίγο την αναπνοή του να συγχωνεύεται με την αναπνοή του Θεού. Γιατί ο Θεός αναπνέει: Εκπνέει και εμφανίζεται ένας κόσμος, εισπνέει και εξαφανίζεται ένας κόσμος. Μπορούμε να αντιληφθούμε κατά προσέγγιση αυτή τη διεργασία παρατηρώντας κάποια λευκά συννεφάκια που εμφανίζονται ξαφνικά στον γαλάζιο καλοκαιρινό ουρανό, και το ίδιο ξαφνικά εξαφανίζονται.
Βεβαίως οι εισπνοές και εκπνοές του Θεού εκτείνονται σε δισεκατομμύρια χρόνια. Τα ιερά βιβλία της Ινδίας, γράφουν ότι μια μέρα ο Θεός θα εισπνεύσει και τότε το σύμπαν θα επανέλθει στους κόλπους του. Ύστερα θα εκπνεύσει και μια καινούργια πλάση θα εμφανιστεί… Δια μέσου του ανθρώπου ο Θεός αναπνέει πιο αργά, οι συμπαντικές όμως αναπνοές του είναι πολύ μακροχρόνιες. Άρα, όσο περισσότερο κρατά η αναπνοή μας, τόσο περισσότερο μοιάζει με την αναπνοή του Θεού."

"В един оркестър всеки музикант притежава партитура и се концентрира върху нея. Той не се нуждае от партитурите на другите музиканти. Но диригентът, който е застанал пред оркестъра, познава всички партитури и следи всеки един от музикантите да свири в подходящия момент, да спазва такта, вариациите и пр. В противен случай, дори и при най-хубаво изпълнение на музикалните мелодии, изсвирени индивидуално, ще настъпи ужасна какафония. А как стоят нещата в живота? Навсякъде се говори за кадърни в професионално отношение хора – да предположим, че са способни да свирят партитурата си, – но нямат общ поглед върху нещата. Много е хубаво, разбира се, че са добри специалисти – но ограничени от възгледите на личната им позиция, те не са способни да вземат правилни решения за общността. Затова всеки е длъжен да придобие съзнанието на диригент, тоест да се издигне до положението, откъдето ще има общ поглед, за да действа правилно при всякакви условия."
